In the same way that the Fighter is your basic male character class, the Amazon is your basic female character class. And, your basic Back Row character as well. Unlike the Fighter, she
gets two attacks when placed in the Back Row, but only one when in the Front Row. Amazons are hard to plan kills for when you are trying to gain Charisma & Alignment for them because of their low Strength. They gain really great
stats of everything else for being such a basic class. Better than Fighters even! It’s a good thing that the required Charisma & Alignment for her promotions aren’t too high. I’ve heard that Amazon do not fight as effectively when placed in units with other male characters. So, in case this is true, keep the units heavy with other Amazon and any of the other female classes that you started out with (like Clerics), and you should be fine. After all, you
should only have Amazon for only a little while!

Just like the Fighter, you can swap between classes if you find your self with either too many Clerics or Valkyrie. But don’t get giddy with too many Amazon, because
there aren’t nearly as many class choices for her as there are for the Fighter. Which is a shame if you ask me!
However, the classes that are available are top notch. Well, except for one of them! You’ll find out soon enough, my
child... At any rate, you will want to develop at least 6 or 7 of these warrior women for your units. The reason why you want so many is because you will want multiple Clerics & especially Valkyrie, as they are really great.
