Class Notes & Tips

Some of you more, well, destructive players out there many not want to ‘waste’ a slot in a unit for simply a healer. However, this is a healer that ‘simply’ heals your entire unit twice!  And, if you have her in the same unit as one that is led by a Princess, that’s three times!! You can think of one of her heals as nullifying a hit-all attack from the enemy unit that you are fighting.  With this, you are almost making the two healing Tarot Cards, Priestess & Empress, obsolete.  That’s one reason why I rate those cards so poorly! The one minor pain is that because the Cleric class gains such wild Agility, she may go so fast and use one of her Healing + attacks before you’ve really been dealt any damage!  This can also save your ass, though, if you’ve forgotten to heal up a unit, and this it gets attacked.  You’ll be glad you have a Monk in there! She has some pretty low defense, however, and Black attacks deliver a big time hurtin’ for her. She has low Cold & Lightning Defenses as well. It is a good thing that her Healing + attack heals her in the process! Still, they can turn the tide in many a battle, and they can be quite useful.

This character class is great, don’t get me wrong. But probably by the time you are able to get this class, you will have numerous characters that are quite capable of mass destruction.  Liches and Seraphim and Muse, oh my!!  The unfortunate thing about this gal is that she may be passed over in favor of one of these classes, or another such fearsome class. If your units simply wipe out the enemy unit in one encounter, you won’t need as much healing as you might think. Other than a healing item or two after the battle, that is.  You should most definitely want a Monk in a city defending unit or two.  If you have a unit that is super overkill, you should be able to fit one in for special occasions.  This is where they really work great.
