I believe that this is the best class in the entire game. Why not the Lich? Well, sure, the Lich is not bad. But, when you have this lovely lady the leader of your unit, every character, including herself, gets an extra attack!!! Imagine a Back Row Doll Master or Muse with three attacks! Or Generals & Dragoons with four Front Row attacks! It’s like a free Emperor Tarot Card every battle! Your selfish little Lich can’t do this! Basically, a Princess turns any two hit-all character into a Lich. Which allows you a more leeway in making your units. She is a bit
fragile, and gains among the worst average Hit Points per level out of any character class in the game. Almost less than a suck-ass Golem! She also has really really low defenses to all but White attacks, but you will wipe out your opponents so fast that it shouldn’t really matter. She has no business being in the Front Row most times anyway. The only slight problem here is that you will need a “CROWN” (Dream Crown) in order
to make the class promotion. The good thing is that there is always one waiting for you once you beat the Sky Island stage of Muspelm. All you have to do is revisit the town of Chilfa. You also get one on at the town of Pillary on Temple Shalina,
the last stage. Even though it’s the last stage of the game, this is actually not as bad as it sounds. You can turn a spare Monk or special character into a sudden powerhouse just in time for the final conflict!! I’m if Siskel & Ebert (it’s not the same with that other guy), played some Ogre Battle, they’d give “Two Thumbs Up” here!

If you can manage to get a Princess very early in the game (which can be difficult, I know), like on the second or third stage, you also gain access to two other excellent classes. The Angel and Faerie classes. They may not start out the greatest (especially the Faerie!), but once they get to their highest promotions, look out!! You will want to be gaining levels early with them so that they will be the most effective
& cheaper to deploy later on down the road. It will also give you some great flexibility with your units early on, instead of using random characters that you know you won’t be using later on down the
road. Something that is lots of fun to do is to make the special characters, such as Aisha, Norn, etc. into Princesses. Their crazy high Intelligence will cause tons of damage!
