Class Notes & Tips

Even more so than with Phantoms, you will want to upgrade your Skeletons to Wraiths as soon as you possibly can! The upgrade to the Wraith is slightly better than his previous form.  The extra attack is all that you really need for this class, as you now have a standard evil character class that has three direct attacks in the Front Row.  Only the Ninja class is the other choice for Front Row evilness.  And, probably a better class than this one in most cases. The Wild Man subclasses don’t count cause they suck! However, this class does have its uses.  The do serve your needs for a Front Row fighter pretty well, and there are no Hit Points to even worry about!  They do seem to miss quite often, however, as their Agility is pretty low.  I guess it’s to be expected, seeing as he is dead and all.  I have had times where a particular Wraith has missed with all three of his attacks!  That’s not going to be good for business. That’s not going to be good for anybody. Anyway, these give some nice spice to your units when you want to have some fun.

By this point in the game, you will have many more choices for evil front-liners, so you may not really need these as much as you needed Skeletons.  However, this class is cheap to deploy, really easy to get, & has three attacks. Ninja Masters are much harder to get, and can be an investment in the entire first half of the game! With these, you say “I want a Wraith,” and you can get one like that. How, you ask?  Well, a Lich can recruit them when he is the leader of a unit.  Or, you can find them as neutral encounter on Antalia.  This class is not as good as the Phantom, but it can still make a unit of yours (or the enemy’s) really hard to deal damage to!
