Class Notes & Tips

This is the best dragon class in the entire game.  Why?  Several reasons.  First off, at only Level 15, you can have a character that can give you two hit-all attacks!  At this point in the game, you will probably have only a few characters like this, such as a Muse or lucky Lich.  And, you don’t have to sacrifice any mobility, either, because he has Plains terrain type. Also, except for his White Defense, all of his defenses are higher than average.  And even his White defense isn’t as low as the other dragons weakest defense. His levels are identical as the other second tier dragons, so a Tiamat just breaks even there. This class is truly great. He will do tons of damage, and be pretty hard to take down as well.  I mean, how cool is it to have a character class that can do an attack that one of the game’s main adversaries can do!  Of course, yours won’t be as strong or hard-hitting as his, but you can still have lots of fun with it! You don’t want to move up in this class anymore, as you need to burn a “UNDEAD” (Undead Ring) in order to promote to a Zombie Dragon.  And some doubt whether it is even a promotion!  More on that later...

OK.  Now you’ve got your first truly fearsome large character. So use him!  Just about any fighting unit will do. When you first get him, you will probably want to have him in the Back Row to take advantage of the Evil Ring attack. You will just rip through battles! Once your other classes around him get promoted to their final forms, you will probably find him more useful positioned in the Front Row.  This will not only best set up your attacks, by having the Liches & Devils sit back and fire away, but he will protect them by standing in front of them.  This damage magnet status is important, because you don’t want your main fighting units to have to run and hide on a town or temple, now do you!  If you have some Wraiths, you could maybe get away with having him in the Back Row, if you find Evil Ring so delicious... Also, recruiting them is as simple as getting Fogel to join your army.  For large characters in your fighting units, you wont ever want to have anything else!
