Class Notes & Tips

This class is among the top five character classes in the game.  This is probably one of the best Low Sky character classes in the game as well, coming in a close second to the Seraphim.  This class just gives so much of a beating! The deal a surprising amount of damage in the Front Row due to his attack being Black, but that’s not where he gets his licks...  BOOM!!
“That! The sound of a cannon loud as a thunderclap which gives birth to the magnificent geode!”  Sorry, couldn’t help it!
Your enemy is almost reduced to rocks once your Meteor attack is done with them! If you are facing any characters that are weak to Black attacks, they will feel every nook & cranny of that boulder as it bounces over them! This attack is one of the most lethal that you can get in the entire game. And did you get a gander at those level up bonuses?! He’s not lacking in any one category!  Like a Sylph, he is in large monster territory with these!!  The one thing he is lacking in, however, is White Defense.  Oddly enough, this is not even the lowest out of all the character classes! A Ninja Master has even lower! At any rate, unless it’s a Sylph, you will probably have higher Agility than the wielder of the White attacker in the enemy unit, and, if they have already been weakened, take them out before they can even attack.  It can still be a worry every now and then.  But a powerhouse class like this doesn’t need too much baby-sitting, either!  Just let them do their thang!

When using these asskickers, you don’t have much to worry about. The only thing that I would suggest is to not have them as the leader of a unit. Reasoning being, that because a Devil is so fast, he will most likely go second, right after your leader, who tends to go first most of the time anyway. So, it is somewhat wasteful to have such a fast character as the leader, because it slightly reduces the usefulness of having such high Agility. The other thing to notice is the terrain type number that this class has.  Like the entire Hawk Man family, he has a 4, which means that he makes an entire unit of small characters Low Sky!  This is really crucial in getting your powerful fighting units into place. Pair him with a Vampyre, and you won’t have to worry about slow daytime movement anymore!  Once your unit with a Devil, Lich, & Vampyre in it tangles with an enemy unit, it’s game over, man!  Game over!! For the enemy unit, that is! Getting these can be simple as a pimple, man.  All you have to do is get Debonair to Level 22, and then recruit a Demon.  He will have the necessarily Charisma, Alignment, & level to turn into a Devil right away!!  OR, for an especially nasty one, there’s always Galf...
