Class Notes & Tips

Even though this class is immune to most damage, he is actually better suited as a ranged fighter. Basically, you’re looking at one direct attack vs. two targeted attacks. If you want an Undead character in the Front Row in the early stages, use a Skeleton.  A Ghost can really roast some “goodly heroes” with his Nightmare attacks.  What good does the inability to take damage do in the Back Row, you ask?  For some reason, the enemy will always target your Undead characters.  So, he will soak up the damage from your opposing ranged fighters.  Leaving your more vulnerable Wizards and the like to cast away!  A definite force to be reckoned with!

As noted above, you will want to place any Ghosts that you find in the Back Rows of your fighting units.  The other nice thing about this is that if you run into a unit that has a Cleric in it as the leader, all may not be lost.  Ghosts gain really great Agility; not bad for being a dead, wandering spirit!  So, they will almost always go before the Cleric does. So, if you set your tactics to LEADER, and use a damage Tarot Card of some sort to weaken her.  Then, the Ghost will inflict massive damage to the Cleric, most likely killing her. This will work more often than not, but only if you can specifically target the wielder of the White magic.  It is probably a lot safer to just avoid those types of units with your ghosties all together!  As far as finding these guys for your units, the Pogrom Forest is a great hangout for wandering souls to recruit.  Also, if you have a Sorcerer, he can recruit these little guys anywhere on the map!
