Class Notes & Tips

Not only does this class bestow the coveted High Sky terrain type to almost any unit he’s a part of, but he can fight too!  These guys are real tough to fight against, in case you didn’t notice during your journey! They deal great damage to small characters, they have a pretty high Physical Defense, and high Hit Points to boot.  They gain some good levels, too, with high Strength & Agility of particular note. The one thing to watch out for are their other defenses, to which they are all low. However, this early in the game, they don’t seem quite as low, except for maybe his White Defense.  It is towards the middle of the game when you would like these to be higher... A Wyrm will let you zip around a map like a ‘mo.  These are especially great in the early stages, when the enemy units have no High Sky characters of their own. With a Wyrm in your unit, you can go back and forth across the map with impunity!

Almost all of your fighting units should have either a member of this class or a Cockatris in them.  Not only does it let you clean up on a map faster, but if you see an enemy unit being cheeky, and trying to retake a town that you left unguarded way off to the side, you can probably beat him to it. The place for these guys, like almost all of the other large characters, is the Front Row.  The high Hit Points will cover up for his poor defenses.  You can get them many places. The easiest way is to recruit Gilbert into your army. He comes with two Wyrms fresh & ready to go! If you’d like more, have a Beast Master recruit some for you. You really can’t have too many of these!
