Class Notes & Tips

This is the largest character class in the game with a High Sky terrain type. So, take advantage of it! You could even put a Giant in here, and it would still be High SkyNot that you would want to, of course...  This is a much stronger version of the Wyrm, and it really didn’t need that much help.  The only thing the other class was lacking were some top notch defenses, and this class only halfway fits the bill there. Some are decent, but some are still low. Wyvern are weak to White & Cold attacks, so you should take extra precautions against any holy rollers out there.  The addition of a targeted attack is nice, but you will still probably want him to be in the Front Row, putting his big Hit Point totals to a more straight forward use.

These beefy beasts are simply wonderful in fighting units. All you have to do is put him in the Front Row, and then line the back with super spell castes, like a Lich, or a Devil, etc., and you will beat units in the first encounter.  And with the Wyvern, you can cover tons of ground, making the unit as a whole even more deadly. If you have three or so units like this, with various setups of Back Row characters, you will never have to worry about losing any towns, let alone fights.  As long as these units can take care of Undead characters, you should be fine. A Wyvern equipped with a White weapon will work best for you.  And if you’re short on Wyvern, your friendly Dragoner or Fogel can recruit them for you.  You can also find them as neutral encounters on the later stages as well.  These guys are great, use them!
