Here it is. One of the few F ratings I’m giving out to a character class in this game. There are several reasons. First, its attack. Remember “Demi” in the Final Fantasy games? Well, that’s what you have here. And, if you remember, that attack never worked. Unless you cast “Vanish” on the target first, of course!! However, it would work with alarming success when
the enemy used it against you!
This attack is exactly like that. You only have one attack per battle too, so when it misses, you are S.O.L. for the rest of the battle! When brings me to the second reason. A Pumpkin gains some of the worst levels out of any character class. Including a paltry average of three Agility per level, which is one reason why the attack will never hit. He also gains low Hit Points as well, so he won’t last long, either. Which brings me to reason #3. This has to be the absolute worst set of defenses out of anyone! Any attack will light him up like a Roman Candle, but Fire attacks are the ones that will really bash him with a baseball bat! Add these three together: terrible attack, terrible levels, & terrible defenses. Throw in the fact that you need a “PUMPKIN+” (Rotten Pumpkin) to even promote this class to the ‘better’ one; the Halloween, and you have probably the worst character in the entire game!

Well, there’s nothing to do here as far as unit strategy! The slight bonus that this class has
is that it can kill Undead with its Pumpkin attack. Maybe the weight of a pumpkin head is so immense that even the Undead can’t take it! But this is hardly a reason to use one. Also, it has the Forest movement type, but there is little difference between Plains and Forest when fighting. But you actually want some of these? Then pace around in the mountains of Deneb’s Garden. They pop up as neutral encounters all over the place. Or, use a “PUMPKIN” (Glass
Pumpkin) on a Witch if you still have any! and recruit some that way. Or, just recruit Deneb, and get all the ones that come along with her when she
joins! Anyway, a really terrible class. I can’t ever recommend such a worthless piece of crap.
